This is not in refference to sleep, but the letter itself. Elden is basically obsessed with the letter Z now. Everytime he sees it, he gets really excited and points and makes loud noises.
We were at Waffle House and all the condiments on the table are made by Heinz. He was looking at the labels and saw the Z in Heinz and thought it was the greatest thing ever!
I can't believe how smart he is. He really has noticed that there are letters and numbers all around him in the "real world" and he gets really excited when he can identify them. At current he can not say all the numbers and letters correctly, but he can get a few right. However, he can identify all of them if you ask him where it is on a page he will point to the right one. He also has about 12 different shapes that he can identify. He seems to have a hard time with colors, so I try to incorporate colors with the letters, numbers, and shapes. We are also working on animals, which he really likes. Although at current letters are his favorite thing.
