sorry it has been so long. The holidays are crazy for everytone and the same is also true here. We have a tradition of hosting Thanksgiving, which we kept this year. Thanksgiving was lots of fun and busy. We had over a dozens guests, family and friends. Food and compnay were great.
Recently we went to Columbus for the night. Grandpa Erm and Gran Janny babysat Elden while Jason and I went out to dinner as an early birthday celeration for Jason. It was lots of fun. When we returned Elden couldn't have cared less. He was snuggled in with Gran Janny and all fresh from the bath in his pjs. He wanted nothing to do with us!
Today I took Elden to a large strip mall to do some shopping and we walked the length of it and back. Elden had a great time at each store window reading the letters and numbers on the signs. He wanted to tell me each letter. There were also some leaves on the ground which he thought was great for stomping and crunching. How much fun it is to be a big kid.
This afternoon our friend Amity came over and we enjoyed her company. Went for a short walk in the neighborhood and then to dinner at La Parilla. Elden really likes going there as they have live music. He was enthralled with the guitarist.
We are getting ready for the holidays here and hopefully by the end of next week when Nai Nai comes we'll have the house all decorated!
We had family portraits done this November. Here is the link to some of the pictures. Enjoy
